Early on, your hands and a bucket are enough. Later pickup tools clear the mountain in bursts and then stop to cool down. Match them to the peeler so the burst has somewhere to go.
Early carry
- Hands pick one potato at a time until Hand Grab Amount or a class such as Digger changes that.
- The first bucket in reviewed runs holds 50. One route description continues to 125 and then 450. Confirm the number on the tool.
- A potato bag is listed with the shovel and bucket as carry gear. Its exact size was not captured.
- Bag Size on the account screen is the permanent version of the same problem.
Official media shows a shovel and a bucket in front of a gem-studded pile. The shovel is also a one-round Robux unlock on the October 5 list, and it is sold for Cash in the run.
POT4TO-3000
Reviewed footage treats the POT4TO-3000 as a burst vacuum aimed at the pile. It picks up much faster than hands, then overheats. Three upgrade tracks are described:
- Pick Amount raises how many potatoes each pulse takes.
- Cooling shortens the time you cannot fire.
- Charge lengthens the burst before the next overheat.
During cooldown, switch to the shovel or to hand pickup. Standing next to an overheated tool is lost time.
Potato Vacuum products
The October 5 store listed a Potato Vacuum [OP] for 45 seconds at several prices, a one-round vacuum, and a permanent vacuum at 249 Robux. It is not confirmed that this product and the POT4TO-3000 are the same tool. Use the name on the prompt you are buying.
A recorded early impression was that an unupgraded vacuum was easy to over-buy. Upgrade it, or do not expect it to replace a peeler.
Do not outrun the station
A fast collector can leave thousands of potatoes unpeeled. Before you max Pick Amount, check that the Auto Peeler and the Drone can take the queue. Point the drone at the machine you want fed.
The Black Hole, or the Infinity Storage pass, removes the bag limit. It still does not peel. A huge unpeeled inventory only helps after the station can process it.
