The captured account screen has four tracks: Hand Grab Amount, Bag Size, Cash Boost, and Gem Boost. Tool upgrades sit on the equipment itself. Buy the track that is making you wait.
How to tell what is slow
| If this is happening | Spend on this | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You click or hold for a long time to fill a small batch | Hand Grab Amount or pickup speed | Capacity does nothing while the pickup is slow |
| You walk back half empty, over and over | Bag Size, then the 50-potato bucket if you do not have it | Fewer trips, once pickup can fill the container |
| You peel faster than you sell, or sales feel tiny | Cash Boost | An early multiplier applies to every later batch |
| The Hand Peeler or Auto Peeler is fed but slow | That machine's own upgrades | Account Cash Boost does not crank the machine for you |
| You are stocked for this run and thinking about the next one | Gem Boost | Gems persist. Later gem values on the track were not fully recorded |
Cash Boost is the usual first account buy when the loop is already moving, because it compounds across later sales. It is a weak first buy if you still cannot pick up or peel.
Inside one run
Spend run Cash on the manual peeler line before you expect automation to carry you. A stronger manual peeler turns a large batch into Cash while you are standing there. The base Auto Peeler is background throughput. Keep peeling manually until the machine's upgraded speed can take a real queue.
Shovel and vacuum tools clear the pile faster and can overheat. Upgrade cooling or switch tools during the downtime. A collector that outruns the peeler only builds a pile of unpeeled potatoes.
What to skip on a time attempt
Sell-price boosts do not peel faster. Rare potatoes are money, not a required detour, unless one is already in reach. Paid infinite storage removes bag trips. It does not peel, and a time set with it is not comparable to a free run.
Gem Boost can wait until a run is already producing gems. One progression write-up describes a separate diamond-luck upgrade and a Gem Boost ladder of 10% steps up to 50%. The captured four-track screen shows Gem Boost and does not label a Diamond Luck track, so those extra numbers stay unverified.
